We are pleased to announce a landmark collaboration between GIFT University and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), formalized on Thursday, 7th November 2024, through the signing of an MOU at GIFT University. This partnership marks a pivotal step forward in enriching educational and professional opportunities for our students.
During the ceremony, GIFT University’s Rector, Dr. Shahid Qureshi, and Registrar, Mr. Waseem Ullah Dar, shared the university’s vision for academic excellence and its mission to empower students with a world-class education. Professor Dr. Zaheer Abbas, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Commerce, extended his sincere appreciation to the SBP team for their confidence in GIFT’s academic standards, underscoring our shared commitment to advancing quality education.
We are also honored to announce that the State Bank of Pakistan’s Student Ambassador Program, a program gaining resounding success across Pakistan, has chosen students from GIFT University’s Faculty of Business and Commerce to represent the Gujranwala region. This selection highlights SBP’s trust in our students to serve as ambassadors for the program with professionalism and integrity.
Further strengthening this collaboration, Ms. Mariam Sohail, Director of the Student Development Centre, has built a strategic relationship with the SBP with a strong emphasis on women’s empowerment and development, reflecting our commitment to fostering inclusive opportunities and leadership for women in business.
