Board of Advanced Studies & Research (BASR) October, 2025

A meeting of the Board of Advanced Studies & Research (BASR) was held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at GIFT University, Gujranwala. The meeting was chaired by the Rector, GIFT University, Prof. Dr. Shahid Qureshi, in the presence of distinguished external and internal experts. He emphasized the importance of aligning research with industry needs and societal challenges, reflecting the University’s vision: "To deliver transformational education with an ethical and entrepreneurial mindset, fostering socio-economic development and creating a positive social impact."

The renowned external experts Prof. Dr. Mansoor Sarwar, Vice-Chancellor Qarshi University Lahore, Prof. Dr. Waseem Anwar, Professor of English & Director - International Center for Pakistani Writing in English, Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore, and Dr. Naumana Amjad, Professor and Former Dean, Social Sciences NUR International University, Lahore, provided insightful and constructive recommendations on students’ thesis topics in alignment with the University’s vision. They also appreciated GIFT University’s continued dedication to academic excellence, quality research, and fostering an entrepreneurial and socially responsible learning environment.
