BASR Meeting – October 2023

A meeting of the Board of Advanced Studies & Research (BASR) was held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at GIFT University, Gujranwala. The meeting was chaired by the Rector, GIFT University, Prof. Dr. Shahid Qureshi in the presence of external and internal experts. Moreover,  Mr. Muhammad Anwar Dar, Chairman Board of Governors specially participated in the meeting to urge the faculty to pursue applied research, in line with the University’s vision – Converting Knowledge into Practical Experience. The external experts Prof. Dr. Waseem Anwar (Professor of English & Director – International Center for Pakistani Writing in English, Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore), and Dr Naumana (Dean of Social Sciences – Nur University, Lahore) and Dr. Mansoor Sarwar  (Professor and Vice-Chancellor, University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore) specially graced the meeting and appreciated the expeditious efforts of GIFT University in promotion of quality Education and Research.
