24th Academic Council Meeting at GIFT University Focuses on Curriculum Innovation and Policy Development

A meeting of the 24th Academic Council Meeting (ACM) was held on Friday, October 03, 2025, at GIFT University, Gujranwala. The meeting was chaired by the Rector, GIFT University Gujranwala, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shahid Qureshi in the presence of external and internal experts. Mr. Muhammad Anwar Dar, Chairman GIFT University, Ms. Zahida Azhar, Additional Secretary (Universities), Government of the Punjab, Higher Education Department, Mr. Hidayat Ullah Kasi, Deputy Director Academics, Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, Dr. Shaukat Ali Brah, Management Consultant & Founding Rector (KSBL), Dr. Shafey Shamial, Professor, Department of Computer Sciences (LUMS), Prof. Dr. Naveed A. Malik, Former-Rector Virtual University of Pakistan, Deans, HoDs, Faculty Members, and Directors graced the meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to deliberate on the new and revised curricula of various programs, approval of policies, and discussion regarding the overall academic vision of the University.
