14th Meeting of the Board of Governors (BoG) – GIFT University

The 𝟏𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬 (𝐁𝐨𝐆) was held on 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟑𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at GIFT University, Gujranwala. The meeting was chaired by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐫, Chairman, GIFT University, and was attended by both internal and external members. Distinguished participants including 𝐌𝐬. 𝐙𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐚 𝐀𝐳𝐡𝐚𝐫, Additional Secretary (Universities), Higher Education Department, Government of the Punjab Lahore, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐉𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐪𝐛𝐚𝐥, Incharge/ Director, HEC Regional Centre Lahore, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐟 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐫, Director Quality Assurance & Academics, Punjab Higher Education Commission Lahore, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐀𝐥𝐢, Vice Chancellor, University of the Punjab, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢, Rector, GIFT University graced the meeting with their esteemed presence.

The meeting focused on deliberations regarding decisions of the University’s statutory bodies, including the Academic Council and Finance & Planning Committee, along with the approval of 𝐍𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬' 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬.

The Board highly appreciated and acknowledged the University’s significant progress in its continued pursuit of growth and excellence, particularly in strengthening practical orientation, fostering industry linkages, enhancing social impact, building stronger connections with government institutions, international markets, and diplomatic networks, and making meaningful contributions to the national and global economy.
