| Eligibility

The entry requirement for admission into the LL.B program will be Bachelor level education in any discipline with minimum 45% marks. All applicants will be required to sit in a written test and appear in an interview to judge their suitability, financial capacity and aptitude.

Methodology
|
|
|
The LL.B program will consist of a total number of 42 courses offered in 6 semesters in modular form. The courses (see below) are designed in combination of 31 compulsory and 11 optional, additional or non-law courses. To give a clinical edge to the curriculum, case based study method will be used. Special courses like Computer Basics and Language Skills have been added to develop additional skills of the students.
There would be 4 hours of teaching over 5 days in a week (i.e. 20 hours in a week). Each three credit hours module will have two classes of 1.5-hour duration in a week and each two credit hours course will have two classes of 1-hour in a week. The modules having 4 credit hours will be given two classes of 1.5-hours and one class of 1-hour in a week. This meets the requirement of both the HEC and the PBC.

Timing and Duration
|
|
|
The LL.B class timing will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, five days a week. The semester duration will be the same as for GIFT Business School (GBS) and other schools at GIFT University. (Normally one week is utilized for preparation/review and two for the final examinations). The entire LL.B having 120 credit hours divided into 6 semesters will be completed in 3 years duration.
